They shoot bows and arrows and spears at we English visitors...on the commands of Owen Glendower.... :? ...!

....They also talk funny... ...

So a Scotsman (North England) could make himself intelligible to Welsh people (Southern England).

Just try going from the Southern USA, Y,all, to Brooklyn or vice versa. They will have no idea what you are saying. If you are going up north take some sweet tea - they don't what that is.

I don't know about that but no true Scot or Welshman would appreciate being called English.

Oh, Wales is in the west of the UK. :P

I recognise my Cockney accent, from where I was born...."Sarf Lundon".... :D ....!

Even though I "Evacuated" from London, with many other Children in 1940 at the start of the Blitz of London, I never lost my good-old-Cockney accent....neither did my Mum and Dad!

It gets slightly modified by the West Country accent now, due to living here ever since, but when I'm in a comical mood, my Cockney accent comes out good and strong!... :D ....!

Its easy to see where many Australian Convicts "emigrated" from..."Cor blimey, Guv'nor/Sheila".... ...!

Paul......Playing with Accents is fun!.... ... ...!

Distinguished Bostonian (even better than a Kennedy, Buckley - not Chomsky)

My bad.

Buckley had a transatlantic accent.

JFK had a proper Bostonian accent.
