Good morning folks... :D

Just received this reply from the letter I sent this morning...

Thank you Sr! Excellent idea, these variants will be included in our final pack. I will send it to our developer and our DHC3 assessor.

Kind regards,

German Reina A.

Good morning folks...Smile

Here are some ideas:
Aircraft Variations:
-wheels
-wheel/ski (5 ski positions...up..3/4..1/2..1/4...full down)
-skis
-floats
-amphibious floats...(choice of front tires to land on paved or unpaved landing areas)
-P&W R1340 engine (same engine used on the Harvard Trainer
-Polish 1000HP radial engine
-PT6A engine

Liveries:
RCAF (Air Transport Command or Search and Rescue)
United States Army
Several Ontario Canada Bush Operators...Austin Airways...White River Air Service...Wardair...Ontario Department of Natural Resources...Survair just to mention a few...
Model which can be repainted by the many talented members here at Simviation... Imagen quitada por el remitente.

Having flown the Old Stoneboat for many years the Otter with the P&W R1340 on wheel/skis or on amphibious floats with wheels for landing on unpaved surfaces was my favorite aircraft.

Many developers who put skis or wheel/skis on their models forget that there is more than one or two settings for the position of the skis. These settings are for landing on different frozen surfaces and are important to the real operation of the aero plane.
Here is an interesting Link with Liveries:

Good to see someone is making a simulated DHC-3 Otter Aircraft for Microsoft FSX Flight Simulator

Have a great day...Winking smile

Thanks to your post, spadjockey, I ended up buying the Otter.

Minor problems aside, it's well worth the money.
