I started watching him when he had his morning show.

Ahead of David Letterman’s final Late Show on Wednesday, a slew of celebrities took to Twitter to congratulate the host on a legendary ride. Below is a selection of the tributes by past performers and guests, fellow comedians and others who were inspired during his 33 years.

I guess I'm weird; I've never watched the show. :think:

I never watched Leno in any of his various hosting shows. Heck, I never watched Johnny Carson; the closest I ever came was listening to him in 1978 on an Emergency room waiting room TV while on guard duty at a local hospital. Never found the time because I was either busy or asleep. ;)

I don't watch late night shows like DL or Leno, but Letterman, Leno, and of course Carson gave viewers good quality TV. I would occasionally watch Carson, he seemed to fit the bit just right. Letterman sure had a good run, his fans will miss him.
