Doug Gregory RIP

Postby Hagar » Tue Apr 14, 2015 12:04 pm

I'm sorry to report that Doug Gregory died yesterday after being knocked down by a hit & run driver.
Doug, aged 92, was a remarkable man & a regular visitor to Popham airfield. He hung up his flying helmet two years ago.

A big shame...

...a grand old Chap!

Its a bugger when you finally have to give up something which has given you so much pleasure for so many years!

When we get older we have to take much more care when crossing the road....... I know!

I think she handed herself in the day after.

92 isn't a bad innings at all, but such a shame it was cut short as you never know where it might have gone.
