Try search "777-300ER", there are several recent FSX aircraft that are worth a try.

Wilco 777(payware) . There aren't any other 777's except from Wilco, Posky(Freeware) and PMDG

The auto pilot works, what I found with all the freeware 777 is for heading you don't click on the button under the knob you click on the knob itself and you will lock on heading dialed in. The light will not light when engaged is the other thing.
Altitude select click the button as normal, but once you click vertical speed and dial in your accent or decent the altitude hold light goes out....don't worry once you hit that altitude set it will come back on and will hold altitude.

The Boeing 777 is the only aircraft I have ever flown and did a full blown auto land in CAT III, Nav radio tuned to runway Freq. It is a life saver in low vis.

Rick

Edit=
FYI I set up all my autopilot settings in 2D panel.
