You guys probably already have this beautiful aircraft. But just in case you don't...

I mean to tell you, This planes vitual cockpit and even the 2-D panel(s) are SICK!!

I would love to say what I think of and how much I truly appreciate Igor Suprunov
and his team at Suprunov Design for their unbelievable work on this frickin Awesome
aircraft, the...

"Yakovlev Yak-40 (EX-SD) V2.2.2 Package"

"It sucks up some computer resources but I am able to run it on my old dinosaur"

Oh yeah, you will definitely be needing this...

"Flight Manual"

Dwayne.... There is alot off reading in my future! ..

Quite good, except for one thing: It sat there idling on the runway, but wouldn't move. FS9, right?

I've had no other probs whatsoever at anytime with anything else on my computer or sim.

No biggie, but any ideas would be helpful.

I can see the screen shots for the panel but I can't seem to get the download to work. How do you get the download link to work?

Could the problems you both are having with the Yuk be attributed to the fact that the OP admitted the aircraft was "sick"?

I got it off the ground by taking off in another aircraft, then switching mid flight to the Yak. Gear would not retract, and the Yak was totally unresponsive to joystick input.

I finally took her up for a while the other night and definitely see what you guys are talking about.

What I did to get her started was fired up the MD-11 (3-Eng.) and had her ready for taxi then selected
the Yak-40. I had no problem at all on the ground. Well... the flaps weren't acting right, like they had
a mind of their own. once I was flying, Gear up, flaps up and level.. I could not keep her at zero pitch to
save my life! Again.. like she had a mind of her own. The pitch located on the yoke (Right Side) wasn't
responding properly.

Once I figured out the autopilot though, she flew like a dream. But I don't like to fly everywhere on
autopilot. Boring!

I don't like The "Red" cockpit lights. The regular white ones are cleaner! It's a shame cause the cockpit
shadowing you get with the red lights is awesome. The red lights on the VC panels are just to Busy.

This plane would be a tripple "A+" in my book if someone would take the time to work their magic on the
flight dynamics and the aircraft file and do a little work on the model.

I still think she's great and will fly her often and READ THE MANUAL. Who knows, It may be a perfectly
fine aircraft and we just don't know what the hell we're doing!! :shifty: ..
