Jackson Hole, Wyoming area

Just a short flight around Jackson Hole in a Bonanza V35.

Compared to the hoops that you had to jump thru for multi-screen flights, Prepar3d V2.4 is SOOOO much easier now.

I love those Farmland-type shots...(California Central Valley, etc)....with its automatic crop-sprayers...
..but its always a shame that the Flight Sims still haven't got around to programming-in, real-looking "sunshine" on the ground, like it is in real life, in a clear blue sky, hot, sunny day!

Bright yellow cornfields shining in the sun would be very inviting...with the occasional cloud passing over!

Even fiddling with the graphics card and monitor settings, (brightness, RGB, contrast, etc), doesn't really work successfully.

For me....its the one remaining thing to bring the whole scenery to real life!

The best I can to is to use; "Enbseries Bloom", which doesn't really make it... ...!

Paul....In the Sunshine State.... ...!
Win 8.1 64-bit. DX11. Advent Tower. Intel i7-3770 3.9 GHz 8-core. 8 GB System RAM. AMD Radeon HD 7700 1GB RAM. DVD ROM. 2 Terra Byte SATA Hard Drive. Philips 17" LCD Monitor. Saitek Cyborg X Fly-5 Joystick. ...and a Briggs and Stratton Petrol Lawn Mower.

Great shots indeed OldAirmail.

For some reason I get some stutters near the airport.

Btw Fozzer I agree with the intensity of the sunlight. If
only that could be rectified.

Thanks, Anthin.

If you can, reduce the size of your browser to around 60% to 70%.

What you want to do is to be able to see both pictures at the same time.

BOTH shots are of the same scene - PAUSED, and then expanded to fill two screens.

The top shot is on a single screen.

The other shot is on dual screen.

Prior to this version of Prepar3d (V2.4) I had to use a feature of my video card to create a single screen out of the two (or three) screens.

This played havoc with the position of my desktop icons.

Reverting back to a dual (or triple) screen desktop was a problem placing the icons back into position.

In a strictly gamming system, this isn't a problem. You just leave it that way.

Now it's SUPER simple.

Place the flight sim roughly in the center of the two screens.

And press ALT and Enter keys together.

And there you have it.

A simpler way to put is like this.

In a few seconds you're going from this -
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .Image

To this -

And NO, FSX can't do this.

As to why Lockheed Martin isn't advertising this, I have no clue

No where near as good as yours, but thank you.

The process really is that simple, it's amazing.

That's why you're seeing more of my shots in dual screen mode.

Triple screen is just as easy, but shrinking it down to fit on one screen is pretty much pointless.

I've been looking at your pictures too, Anthin. You're doing great.

Almost everything that I have will work on FSX too.

Of course, if you wait until the end of next year they may be up to P3d V3.x, and THAT will be a bigger step up from FSX.

Not to mention the Steam seems to be doing things right, and FSX Steam Edition may have improved upon Microsoft FSX be then also.

For now, Prepar3d V2.4 has a few very significant (to me) changes. Such as filling two or more monitors with ease.

Thanks OldAirmail for the compliment.

I think you are probably right about waiting fir a version 3.

My FSX DX10 is serving me very well an I think it looks great.

Might start editing a little, some of my screenshots for fun.
