You're welcome Anthin. Sometimes it helps just to know someone else has experienced what you are going through and that you can get through it too. Peace.

Its Christmas Day morning now, just got up, had a nice cup of Tea, made some warming Porridge for breakfast, and retrieved the Xmas Parrot from out of the 'Fridge to defrost, before stuffing him, covering him with butter and strips of Bacon, and popping him into my trusty Gas Oven to roast very slowly for a few hours!..... :character-chef:..!
In the meantime, between preparing all the vegetables, I will alternate between pretending to fly aeroplanes around the South-Western USA, and playing Xmas tunes on my Keyboards and Guitars, etc... ...!

I still spot some un-opend presents in the corner of the living room, so I will leave you all for a short while, whilst I explore them, and wish you all a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!

This is my first ever alone Xmas.

Did not think it would be this bad, even with phone calls
from my Sisters and a Skype visual from my Daughter,
it is so lonely.

Anthindelahunt you are not alone in any way. You might be alone in your box (home) but you have kindred spirits with you.

I have often been alone on christmas. You just have to go online, put siome music on, watch TV etc (whatever you like).

It's what we're all doing anyway!! :)

Hope yesterday was and the remainder of the year is decent for all of you.
Anthin., my family's relationships have been quite decimated here and my foster family is half a continent away; spent early yesterday alone with some DVDs and Christmas songs on CDs and the radio, then got some sleep before getting to work. I've actually spent a lot of time alone in my life; hope you've survived it well...

With the rise in food, etc, prices, and the drop in income, 2014 was a bit of a struggle.

Hopefully, 2015 will be a little bit better.... ....

...Probably not!... ...!

But continuing good health will be a blessing!... :D ...!

To all my SimV friends, acquaintances, strangers (not many stranger than this bunch! :D ), and everyone else: Happy Holidays and may your times be full of good memory making moments.
Yeah, I know I'm a day late, but I'd rather have spent yesterday with my lovely wife than you guys

Anthin: Much like Hawkeye, I've spent more than a few Christmas days alone for whatever reason, whether deployment, badly timed det, or just plain duty section work, so I can relate. I don't say it's good, but we do what we need to, and eventually, we get the reward for it. It's just a matter, for me, of hanging on to the memories made before, and looking forward to what may come to be.
I hope you're doing "ok" and that you can get "OK-er" :D

And always remember, while we may not be with you physically, all of us are here for you spiritually, at least. Alone is more a state of mind. Fight through, and if there's anything I or anyone else can do, just ask, and we will be more than happy to do whatever we can to help :D

Paul: I really wish you would quit with all the teases about food! Every time I read one, I want to make something to eat! I think I've gained a few lbs...

Thank you all for some wonderfull times and all the help so far, and I hope there will be many more years of it! Take care, all, and if yer gonna enjoy the holiday "spirits", PLEASE stay out from behind the wheel, yoke, handlebars, or whatever :)

Pat☺
Have fun, fly high, far, and free!

Healthy Blimps indeed,lol.

Me at 62 Kilos. I was 87.9 when I had the hear attack
at the end of last year. It dropped drastically after the
Triple by-pass. I would not really advise this a weight loss
method.
