Hay, Mr Jetranger!

Pete had a posting about this, but the Amazon copies are MUCH better than the eBay copies.

I'm always looking out for you, so I found you a deal that isn't going to cost you an arm and a leg. :D

eBay never surprises me, but Amazon needs to accept complaints about some over-priced items. I don't mean competitively overpriced, I mean "Not even a sucker would fall for this" overpriced. Two examples, I saw a guitar priced at $10,000 new that was, to my very expert eye, worth maybe $400-500. I posted a 'caveat emptor' review about that. Then there was the $238,000 item, I forget what it was, but I do remember it wasn't a Porsche, that's for sure. Some item maybe worth about a hundred bucks. C'mon, 238 G's? Gimme a break. This is the sort of stuff I see occasionally on Amazon. Well, we all here know better. I don't wonder so much as to who might fall for any of this as to why any vendor could post an item with a price tag so obviously out of whack. Who's gonna buy it?

"The point is, ladies and gentleman, that greed, for lack of a better word, is good. Greed is right, greed works. Greed clarifies, cuts through, and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit. Greed, in all of its forms; greed for life, for money, for love, knowledge has marked the upward surge of mankind . . . ."

I have a hunch that those extremely high prices for different items are only "place holders". In other words, I don't think that the seller actually has the item. There is no other logical explanation.

On the other had, if you want to buy, say a box of chocolates, for $300 they WILL go to the closest store and get that box for you.

Well ol' Walter Bomar sure knows how to paint his name perfectly like type from a computer !!!

and that crease in the upper Left hand corner , tells me this is a paper Print, and not Canvas or illustration board.

I used to Airbrush illustration, do Signs and lettering using a Paasche Airbrush or a Cresendo, or Iwata Airbrush back in the 90's.

so I know a little something about art work.

Whoever buys, which is nobody, but, they'd be in for a huge shock and disappointment once they get it, not only for what it is, but the Quality and not even the Original Artists piece.

This is nothing more than a paper Reprint of the artists original, tho it might somewhat old, its still is hardly worth whats being asked !

$50.00 on the high end, unless its a size beyond 24 X 36, than maybe $150.

Such a joke some people are, really makes ya wonder about some peoples mentality !

In fairness the seller is paying the shipping charges.

Ya know, Webb is Right

glad he pointed that out to ship dat' little lite weight tube mailer that'll cost 2.50 to mail........

OK, I think I'll go ahead and order it and get it Delivered

NOW,,,, who's gonna cough up their "Credit Card number", so I can use it to buy this Thing

lets see for $4,750 dollars , I could probably buy every one of Carenado's Aircraft 10 times over, as well as Captain Sims, Alabero's some of Just Flights, and Lionheart simulations and still have enough left over to add a few hundred payware airports too !

and I can actually Fly in those aircraft and tinker with switches and gauge du-flunky's and Gizmo's !

Where if I buy that Supposed Poster all I can do is sit and look at it on the wall and Dream & Fantasize about flying a Machine like that , and - and - kick myself in the Azz for being Dumb enough to buy the thing in the 1st place !

Not to mention the amount of Real Aircraft Flights I could take with that money  :?

Why I could Fly down to Florida , and see Webb and go Golfing in the Sun Shine  :D

I'm definetly NOT goin' to be the next contestant on this Game Show !!!

Lets Make a Deal :

No, he's here in Kansas City about 20 minutes from my house,,, has a full shop and does only hand painted lettering, and Air Brushing,,,,

he was out in California prior to moving here, for 30 years, he pinstriped Frank Sintras vehicles, Sammy Davis Jr's rides, Andy Griffiths, Cher, Evil Knievel, Fantasy Islands dudes car, Eva Gabor, Jim Nabors, The Monkees mobile, the pink panther mobile, Adam West / Batman mobile, Jim Rockfords / James Garner / Rockford files, Rockford Chevy 4X4 Pick of Rockys, about all of the Hollywood fire depts. fire engines and ambulances are lettered in gold leaf and pinstriped by Mr. Bond.

He still does that kind of work,,,, out of his shop here, just not in LA, Calif anymore.

View his web site to see and learn more !
