Do you know what...

I'm hopeless at taking screen-shots!
I've just spent this morning flying around the LA Valley, whilst cooking my Sunday Dinner, and, as usual, I get so excited watching all the amazing OrbX FTX Global ground mesh, and all the busy interstate Highways filled with moving traffic below, courtesy of Ultimate Terrain USA, that I quite forget to push the Button engraved; "Screen Shot"!

So...

..all I could get in the end, was a shot of today's Sunday Dinner instead...

I hope you enjoy!

Now you have made me hungry and it is only 5am.
I have just turned on the computer and with a cup
of tea in hand, was confronted with a fully cooked
meal.

My screenshots look grainy. Maybe the resizing?

I'll tell you what I do to take a nice crisp shot, Anthin....

As a VERY LOW and mostly slow Pilot, I take most of my screen shots either on the ground, or very close to the ground, to pick up the finest detail.
I never do like high altitude screen shots. The detail is lost in the mist!
Its excitedly watching all the grass detail evolving before my eyes as I skim over the tree-tops during flight that inhibits me from interrupting my time taking screen shots!... :D ...!

I must admit, that my existing ground detail looks very good during my flights in comparison with actual Photographs!

FSX...plus my extra bits and bobs....as real as it gets!..... ...!

Paul....Fish and Chip Supper coming up in a minute....so no time for pretending to fly at the moment!... ...!

UTX USA gives me some fantastic, very accurate Highway/Interstate road systems which I am very familiar with, full of traffic, which I follow very closely on my Road maps!

I don't know if you are aware of this, but the Flight Sim Store
here on Oz,in conjunction with Orbx have a permanent 20 percent
discount for 65 and overs. All you have to do is send a copy via
their Email service of your driving licence. Twenty percent of all
Orbx products. It helps if you are buying their scenery.

I am now thinking of what bland breakfast I am going to have.

Fozzer.

Does the V key not work for you?
Have you tried the freeware program,Snapshot
here on Simv?

I have Snapshot but it does not work in fullscreen
in DX10.

By the way I had a cauli, mushroom, onion and broccoli
curry for lunch. Mmmmmm.

Do not have a camera to take a snapshot.

Anthin....

I use "Screen Grab", with its user-defined key selection for my screen shots and "Irfanview" for my resizing, etc.
...which works fine on my 'puter spec.
