FSX Taifun problem

Postby Zaphod » Fri Dec 19, 2014 12:28 pm

Hi all.
Does anyone else have a problem with this download?

It's been a while since I've edited any CFG files but all looks in order to me but I'm missing the majority of gauges in all the versions.
I have the aircraft in FS9 and it's one of my favourites.

Any help appreciated.

Probably some gauges are not included (If so I will email Erik and hopefully he can upload them)

To check if gauges are missing - look at the panel.cfg file inside the panel folder (open with Notepad). If you see gauges mentioned but cannot see the gauge included or it's not a default gauge then there's your problem.

Also - sometimes there is a 'gauges' folder included with the aircraft. In this case put the gauges in there into the main Gauges folder in your FSX

Meanwhile I am checking out this aircraft ....... will report back .....

Update: Sure enough a XML gauges is missing - BF108_Vintage

I will email Erik as he forgot to include it.

Thanks for the report.

Pete.
Thanks for the prompt reply.
There are a lot of CAB files in the panel folders which always make me nervous and I'm never really sure what to do with them other than leave them where they are!

Zaphod ;)

Edit;
Pete, just seen your update. Great work.
Looking forward to a fix.

Regards.
