Man's faithful friend.

Reminds me of the photographs taken in the battle-field during the First World War, of slowly starving to death, all skin-and-bone Horses, remaining beside their dead riders who were killed in battle....
...often tied together by the reins...

A reminder of just how wonderful some creatures are.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

That's not necessarily true; in general, cats are much more individualistic than dogs but, like with most species (including humans), there are various exceptions; more than one would sleep on top of the foot of the bed; where some cats were apathetic about being cuddled or petted, one would give you a bite if you refused...

However, as for social training, dogs are the general preference. My dad, a medic, was assigned a dog as his medical assistant; my dad would place a note in the dogs collar pouch and send it back behind the line for supplies; even under fire the dog wouldn't leave him unless he ordered it to.

I live 10-12 miles north of Phil. and can tell you it's true.

Not most of the time, but it's there on occasion.

I thought it was just my imagination.
