Virgin Crash in Mojave Desert

Ohhhh, the Virgin Galatic Craft crashed in the Mojave desert just moments ago,,, their reporting

this was the craft supposed to carry people to the edge of space for like $250,000 dollars ,,, yikes !!!

Well Fozzer , can't use the word Crash, or broke up why it might offend somebody those kinds of words nowdays , and Ohh my wouldn't want anybody to get their shorts in a knot would we ??

so they come up with words like Anally, Abnomally whatever they called it,, to sound more supposed pre-fissional and as to not offend those who might be offended and cause to go into utter shock and mental distress by using such words as Crash and the like

There's nothing so daft as listening to some official spokesperson trying to justify/explain an unfortunate accident...
...and making themselves sound daft in the process!

We get them over here as well; Cops, Fireman, Politicians, etc....

Eh, it was just a test flight. They had "improved" the rocket fuel, and wanted a test flight. I would definately say they got more bang for their buck, as the saying goes...

My heart does go out to the Pilot's family, and my hopes are with the Co-Pilot as he struggles to heal.

I also salute them both as being part of an important, and historic part of our next steps outward.
And, knowing test pilots, had you told them both it would explode and one die, they would have fought tooth and nail to get aboard and fly her, both the meanwhile thinking "Ahhh, you poor bastich, been good knowin ya! I'll never let a plane kill me! I'm a test pilot, after all!"

Here's hoping no one has the same problem during their flights!

This test flight (not the first revenue flight) crash was apparently caused by a combination of incorrect control input and some sort of problem with that same control . It had nothing to do with the fuel.

Tragic, but so far they haven't lost as many people as NASA... I'm still rooting for them.

One thing that is still tripping me out is that there were no ejection seats on this craft. This means that its entirely likely that the pilot found himself floating at 50,000 ft+ at around Mach 1 and then was able to deploy his parachute and land alive after the craft broke up inflight.. That is pretty amazing to me, when you consider the Armstrong Limit is 62,000 ft to 63,500 ft.
