How to "make" FMC to show other aircraft/air traffic?

No air traffic and you won't see it in the FMC

It's quire a common problem - disappearing air traffic ....

Yeah I know but it is not the case. I have traffic over 60% and aircrafts are very close and the fmc can show aircrafts withing 50nm I think which is a lot. I know my fmc does not work because In few 777 models I have eicas here and there are 2 round buttons which displays the air traffic information including speed, height, flight number and callsign on the flight monitor (the one with the heading and VOR/ILS)

The SDK is included with FSX DeLuxe & Gold. It has to be installed to use some features & tools. There are different versions depending on which version of FSX you have (SP1, SP2, Acceleration etc.)

Please read it carefully. It looks more complicated than it is.

Note: I did not install the SDK on FSX on my laptop, the one where the FMC traffic displays.

So I think that I dont have to install anything more even the SDK.

FSX Gold comes as two separate DVDs. FSX Deluxe is on one DVD. The Acceleration expansion pack is an optional install on the other one. Installing Acceleration will also install the FSX SP2 update.

As I understand it there are several different versions of SimConnect.dll depending on the version of FSX you have installed (see the link you posted earlier --> http://www.flightsimtools.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=29). I'm wondering if having the wrong version of this file might be the cause of at least one of your problems.

Hi Guys, has anybody got to the bottom of the problem where traffic does not appear on the FMC map screen?

I have aircraft installed that came with the Honeywell FMC plus I've installed it in the 737-800 panel and in both cases I cannot see any other aircraft but if I look out the cockpit there are plenty there in flight.

My setup is win7 64bit with fsx gold installed outside of program files (86) and I don't have the SDK installed on this particular system, I can't get at my xp based pc at the moment to do a comparision which does hv the sdk installed

Could it be an fsuipc problem?

Thanks for the feedback Mr Hagar, I usually fly without using the Fmc and I didn't know that it show the traffic around you, just to make a little more real our hobbie.

Ok I reinstalled the game fmc still doe not show the air traffic but whatever. Finally I am able to use the Posky's 777 without the msvcr and simconnect error. But having trouble with the acceleration dvd. Error message is saying that: "server could not be reached."

So at least something-...

I dont know why the FSX turning off the Aero look in windows 7 becuase in W8 it does not do it
