Hi Good People,

Just a heads up that another 108 fun Flight Sim Jigsaw Puzzzles are now available. This brings the total to over 400 FREE puzzles for your relaxation from your busy flight sim flying schedule.

The puzzles are proving to be very popular for the simming community (over 75 thousand downloads to date) and the Ford Project Team is very pleased that we have been able to add something different for your entertainment with a distinctly Flight Sim Flavour.

I have also snuck in an additional 12 "Classic Art" images for those that want a bit of a break from "Aircraft" type puzzles.

Where do you get them: http://www.ford-tri-motor.net/puzzle-page.htm

A large volume of the puzzles are garnered from our recent aircraft and livery releases - the DH91a and of course, the growing in popularity, Curtiss Jenny JN4D packages for both FSX and FS2004.

While your at the site - check out the plethoria of new FSX and FS2004 stuff available for the Jenny.

You will find the Jenny and many other era specific aircraft downloads Via the Other Aircraft page on the Ford Project Site.

Regards

Garry and Edward
your Ford Project Team.

Hi Mate,

I am intrigued on how addictive they are - you start one - looks like a nightmare - then you start organising it and suddenly your on a mission to finish it. :D

Then you want to have a go at another - many can be done in around 30 minutes - some can take a solid hour or more - but the great thing is that you can simply exit the puzzle and when you come back you can carry on from where you left off - so no time limits - can stop and start as often as you want - but I find myself pushing on to the end if I start one.

I am quiet pleased that the Puzzles on the Ford Project site have been so popular - great fun for the entire family - cost nothing and can be enjoyed by almost all ages.

Glad your getting some entertainment from the puzzles - tons there to choose from - including some classic art - some of those can be quiet difficult/time consuming - but a good challenge.

Regards mate.

The only things I used to dislike about puzzles were (a) keeping a table clear long enough to assemble a puzzle and (b) having a missing piece at the end and discovering that the dog had mangled it. Computer puzzles fix both problems.

One puzzle I downloaded Floats-G-AAVB.zip was blocked by my antivirus software. Reason was it contains a trojan. Others all worked fine.

Hi Mate,

Strange - that puzzle has been downloaded over 430 time since it was released - I would have expected that someone in that number of downloads would have given me a shout about a virus if it was in there. I suspect you might have got a "false positive" from your virus checker.

All puzzles are compiled on an old laptop which has no connection to the internet - built and running as a tinker machine.

That happens every now and again as virus detectors dynamically change to match the rapid publishing of viruses. - Sometimes they get it wrong and lean towards safety for something a little abnormal (in their perspective). Just the other day my checker removed one of my license files for a product - reinstalled and added the licence key and the virus scanner removed it yet again :-)

Regards

I understand, as it has blocked safe files in the past but I wanted to pass the information along to you just in case there really is a problem.

Thanks mate - appreciate the thought and concern.

However, posting in a public forum a Trojan alert in regards to someones product has the tendency to scare off a lot of patrons and raise a level of concert by those patrons for the overall products available from the product site. Particularly when, as you mention. you are aware that your Anti Virus sometimes makes mistakes - as do many others anti virus products.

I would have thought that sending me a Personal Message via this forum would have been far more appropriate method of addressing this matter.

Again - I do appreciate you concerns - but would have preferred a PM instead of a public forum post about a Trojan that does not exist.
