Lovely shots!

The Cessna 210 Centurion makes a very nice Sim aeroplane!

Quite fast with its retractable landing gear, and a good, single-engine alternative to the Beech Baron 58.

Very popular. I quite like it!

Bluenarrow - Thanks! I have an AMD Phenom II X6 1035t processor. Stock clock is 2.6gHz, and I have it overclocked to 3.5gHz with liquid cooling.
In these shots the scenery is MegaSceneryEarth New York State - it's a photoreal scenery that really only looks good from about 3000ft AGL and up. The other tradeoff is that my framerates and overall smoothness of FSX has increased dramatically, and I can actually fly VFR accurately. Other downsides are that it only contains one season (Spring) and there are no night textures/lighting. But, I have UTX and some of that night lighting and textures show through. I also fly using DX10 and it looks great!
I wasn't sold on photoreal scenery until OldAirmail posted some pics! Now, I'm looking to get more.
Here are more shots over the Hudson River in New York State:

Fozzer - Thank you! :D The retractable landing gear animation is very weird to watch:

Hi Bass,
My GPU is an ATI 6950 2Gb ram - a bit old, I know, but it still runs all of my other games (the whole Crysis series, BF4, Max Payne 3, etc.) extremely well. I will eventually upgrade my whole system, but I am a bit limited with funding at the moment. I originally went with ATI to take advantage of Eyefinity, since I had 3 24" monitors that were non-matching and Nvidia couldn't do that unless the monitors matched. I've since moved to a 39" Samsung LED TV and now only use one 24" monitor on the side for FSRealWXlite. I run FSX in windowed mode on the 39" with a program called Windowed Borderless Gaming which removes the border so it looks like full-screen.
I also use SweetFX in DX10 with the free version of Steve's DX10 fixer. I know that a lot of people don't like, have problems, or don't use, DX 10 preview, but I really, really like the way it renders water. I love those whitecaps! The cockpit shadows (especially with this Carenado Cessna) are some of the little details that help me with the immersion factor and my suspension of disbelief. DX9 does not provide those little details.
I've tweaked the heck out of my version of FSX to the point where it's smooth enough that I am now finally enjoying the flying experience as opposed to constantly looking for just... a... bit... more.
That being said, I can always use some tips on image quality! :)

Thanks,
E-Buzz

Ok.
Its a long way back since i last had an AMD/ATI card! I got rid of it cause their new controllers was eating up apx 30% of any performances.
One thing tho i remember is, those cards really dont like any AA or anisotrofic filtering settings in game, when playing around with the GPU settings.
If it were Nvidia, i'm sure i could help. Sorry mate ;)

No worries Bass. :)
I will probably make the switch to Nvidia when I upgrade. I'll probably go with Intel at that time as well.

Thank you mrplanecrazy!
This has become my favorite GA aircraft so far. Big difference from the mil jets - no flying inverted, slow speed, slow climb, slow turns. But I do love it for the sight-seeing!
