Addon Scenery-[Missing] Scenery Folder

Good day fellow simmers.

My OR is Win 7 Home Premium with FS2004.

This afternoon I want to install a scenery file into the Addon Scenery-Scenery Folder.

After opening the Addon Scenery I noticed that the scenery folder is missing, but the texture folder is available.

I tried to use the Search programs but for some reason, not one of the scenery files/folders shows up.

Is there an easy way to trace the missing scenery folder?. I did't erase any files from my FS2004.

Hello. The easiest way to fix this is to create a new folder in your Addon Scenery folder & name it Scenery.

The Addon Scenery\Scenery folder should be activated by default. If it's missing you should get an error message when you start FS9.

When I select FS2004, I do get the following message.

"SCENERY.CFG File Error. Local scenery directory (Addon Scenery) SCENERY in scenery area .038 not found. Click OK to continue.

Does this mean that my scenery is missing.

I think I will un-install FS2004 and re-install it, if it will solve my problem.

No need to re-install FS9. Create that Scenery folder as I told you. That should fix the error.

It's the empty folder named Scenery that FS9 is looking for. This is activated by default.

Followed your advice and create a new scenery folder in Addon Scenery. When opening FS2004 that ugly message has disappeared in thin air.
