I keep on hearing that it's the Vulcans last display season, but then again I've been hearing that for the last three years.

Yes, it has kind of been a recurring theme throughout its rebirth. Last year was nearly a stopper due to the significant work needed on the wings, which is now complete. Now they are spares limited - essentially it'll certainly stop flying when an issue prevents it being able to repaired and flown to its final resting place should it go u/s.

The Lancasters are a joy to see overhead. We've been lucky enough to have them overhead our house on the way home for the past two weekends. The perks of living in Bomber County. <<s

I note in the picture the nose high attitude of the Vulcan. So the Lancaster's where gunning it and the Vulcan was going as slow as she could.......?

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
