Not quite an F-15

Postby Rifleman » Sun Jul 06, 2014 8:15 pm

Just like Mark claimed upon the release of information about his new flyer (Not quite an F-14), here is a shot of Wendy's new wingless wonder.....(anyone remember Wendy ?), yes she and I used to frequent this site a while ago but we are both probably forgotten about and thought to be just gathering dust. However, there may be a select few who may cast a wandering though in our direction from time to time. To those, I give salutations and well-wishes, and without further delay, I present the Burgman 400, newly purchased on July 4th for Wendy's riding and touring pleasure...............many changes have occurred in our lives in the past 3-4 yrs but one thing is sure, I remember our time here very fondly, it's just that we don't have the same amount of time to spend in front of our monitors any more. When we do get a bit of time to "get away", this is the way we roll.......Cheers everyone !

Hello Ken!... ...!

Good to see you and Wendy again!

Scooters... :o ...!

Surprisingly enough, they make a lot of sense, and indeed are often to be seen on our roads, 2-up, touring the countryside!

Rather expensive tho'... ...!

Seems like you and Wendy have abandoned the idea of a Harley-Davidson Electra Glide for those 2-up trips up and down the mountains?.... ....!

I am quietly considering getting a second-hand Yamaha Dragstar 250/650 vee-twin cruiser, for my summer-time explorations of the surrounding Counties.....(Don't laugh!)... ....!

My beautiful Honda CB 500RR Twin is languishing in my house for the past 2 years, after falling over on me whilst stopped at a cross roads..trapping me underneath...getting a bit unmanageable for me now...weight.

At the moment I am screaming around, terrifying the villagers, on my trusty Yamaha RX-S 100, 2-wheeled bundle of high speed, 2-stroke joy, enjoying the English Summer-time!
A bit more manageable for lil' old me!.... :D ...!

Keep us up-to-date with your bike tours, Ken.... ;) ...!

Best wishes to you and Wendy!

Paul.... ...!

P.S. On Sundays I pop over to Abergavenny with the rest of the bikers, to meet up, and enjoy? the sight and sound of zillions of Welsh Harley riders, shattering the silence of the countryside with their open stub-exhaust, big, vee-twins....excitement, or what!... :D ...!

Hi Ken, long time no see.

That looks like a fun little machine.
