The Entertainment Season Prepares

There is a pavilion not far away from here that officially begins its season on May 29 with Jake Owens; Shrillex, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Charlie Daniels and Willie Nelson are among the following entertainers at Meadowbrook.

At the Meadowbrook pavilion not far away from here, Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Charlie Daniels Band are scheduled to appear on June 15.

This weekend, at the Meadowbrook pavilion not far away from here, is Peter Frampton and The Doobie Brothers; Boston is currently scheduled for July 3rd.

Speaking of entertainment, it's all happening here in Blighty this weekend. For music fans there's the Glastonbury Festival opening with the traditional heavy rain.

For the petrol heads there is the Festival of Speed a few miles away from me at Goodwood. Tickets for both events were sold out long ago.

I'm afraid that's the way things are nowadays. Admission to these popular events is by ticket only. Tickets go on sale six months to a year in advance & are soon sold out. Of course, it's always possible to get tickets at short notice if you're prepared to pay through the nose for them.

Thats one good thing about "SCALPERS" there is always a way in if you are willing to pay the price :shock:

It seems that as we are getting closer to the end of the annoying; "Football Season", we are now about to get further annoyed by the equally annoying; "Tennis Season".... :evil:...!
