A More Noticable Difference

Postby CHUCK79 » Fri Jun 06, 2014 7:21 pm

I posted some comparison shots yesterday for Old Airmail showing the difference between P3D with and without SweetFX.
I didn't really get the results I was looking for, so I took some more shots at a different time of day......the crack of dawn to be exact :D

I think the difference here is a lot more profound than in my previous comparison shots.

These are certainly great shots, but the previous enhancements increase the presence/environment.

These actually do capture some of the sunrise/sunsets that I've seen, but they seem to be enhanced just for effect.

I'd rather have the other "before/after" after touch when flying, with a few of these after shots thrown in now & then.

Anyway, they look very good. :D

Outstanding shots Chuck! I love the way the color just pops with SeetFx! You definitely have it dialed in!

OAM if you get a chance, you might want try the SweetFx Preset Database page http://sfx.thelazy.net/games/screenshot/6037/

hover your mouse back and forth over the picture to get a comparison of with and without SWFX in Prepar3d!

Yes, I've tried SweetFX.

Unfortunately I don't have Chucks talent.

My attempt didn't came out very well. I have the artistic talent of a 90 day old zombie. :(

Nicely done Chuck...always interested in seeing flying machines with a million moving parts all flying in unison looking for a place to have an accident...

P.S....hope our sons and daughters don't read this one... :o ...they tend to fly weird flying machines without props on the nose of the aircraft... :?
