FMC PROBLEMS WITH SKYSPIRIT2012 BOEING 777-300ER

Postby jparnold » Thu May 08, 2014 5:03 pm

I recently downloaded the excellent SKYSPIRIT2012 BOEING 777-300ER with Virgin Australia livery.
I installed the package as per the instructions on one of my 2 PCs and everything works correctly including the FMC

HOWEVER after I installed it on my other PC (note both PCs have Windows 7 64 bit OS and FSX SP2) I find that the keypad on the FMC doesn't seem to work.
I load a flight plan, go to the FMC, check that the flight plan is loaded ok, select INIT to enter the cruise altitude and then try to enter a cruise altitide BUT non of the buttons on the FMC keypad works and so I cannot enter a cruise altitude.

This is very strange as it works ok on the other PC.

I have tried Googling JB PANELS (the FMC docs refer to JB Panels) but cannot find anything.

Can someone please advise if they know what is causing the problem OR how to contact JB Panels.

Thanks

Thanks for the advice.

I am sure that will fix it.

I remember seeing a similar instruction (edit dll.xml) for a completely different aircraft and gauge but had forgotten about it and not associated it with the Jb Panels FMC.

It largely depends which fmc it is. The later ones are more problem free
