Observation.......

Postby expat » Mon May 05, 2014 11:37 pm

Just an observation, but has the General Discussion forum become the new Current Flight Series forum. There is more posting about how to and what to do with flight sim problems than in the flight sim forum. It used to be anything here except flight sim questions and comments....... :shifty:

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Well we mods should be onto that and move FS questions into the appropriate forums.

I;ll have a look and thanks for the observation .... <<s

It doesn't look too bad... just a couple FS specific threads made recently, but the majority seem to be generally Aviation related.

Of course, except for Paul's (fozzer) gastronomic tour of British cuisine... that should have a separate Forum of its own!

Well Chaps... ;) ...

We used to have such a Forum in the Olden Days....

Following the "General" Forum, it was called the "Sim V Café" Forum.....Where everything, EXCEPT Aeroplanes and Flight Sim subjects, could be discussed!

The orange and white chequered table cloths were changed every day, and the walls decorated in mouthwatering pictures, and the Waitresses wore their paper hats and their clean white aprons, and served the customers with a big smile!

That's also where our various cookery skills, etc, were presented.

The Sim V Café was a very popular meeting place for a nice cup of tea and a hearty breakfast, discuss all sorts of interesting subjects, and where any form of "Flight Sim" discussion was flatly discouraged BANNED!

Paul....Hooray for the old "Sim V Café"!....Happy Memories!.........!
