Roast potatoes.
Carrots.
Cauliflower.

It was so nice that I'm having the same again for tomorrow's Dins!..... ...!

..all my home-cooked meals are always so nice that I never tire of repeating them!

Well Paul, here is where you and I are worlds apart.... ;)

See, I personally hate the whole concept of "food", and having to - "come and eat now - your food is getting cold...bla bla bla"
And then she gets insistent, and I get annoyed.

What an absolute waste of time. :snooty:
Been married 42 years now, and we finally have an agreement..Now all she'll tell me is "food is ready".. thereafter it is my call.
Now its my decision whether I eat later, or whether I eat at all.

(I generally judge a plate of food by how quick it can be consumed. I can live on a packet of Dip-Dabs a day  )

Eating? No, it has only ever been the bane of my life, and as far as I am concerned the worst "invention" ever.

A delight indeed Foz. Worlds apart from yesterday's Costco samples for lunch before a 2 hr. drive home where a can of campbells cream of mushroom soup awaited my new bought slice of Sourdough bread. Tomorrow, being Sunday will likely yield a delectable Sunday lunch of another slice of not-so new sourdough bread and a piece of cheddar cheese, maybe I'll toast a piece of the sourdough for dinner . . . mmmm?
