TYhere's an article from CBC that asks us to vote on the eventual destination of a Avro lancaster in Windsor ONtario. Please read it and vote.

YES YES YES My neighbor's are The Battle of Briton Memorial Flight, they are up flying as I type doing fly pasts at events around the UK this weekend. Lets keep them flying "Lest We Forget". <<s

I voted yes. I used to live in Windsor. I've also seen the Lancaster in Edmundston NB. Now, I'm only 45 minutes away from the Canadian War Plane Heritage Museum where Canada's flying Lancaster is located.
The CWPHM is offering a 4 day flight from Hamilton to the UK. Price......$40,000 Cdn. and that's one way. <<v

Hope the National Air Force Museum of Canada at Canadian Forces Base Trenton, Trenton, Ontario has a look at this one.

They have a fully restored Halifax on display, this would be an asset to them.

Unlike the British Lancaster, sponsored by the RAF, the Canadian Lancaster is not sponsored by the Canadian Government but by volunteers and fund raising. :clap:
