My float Beaver

I love that plane.
The only minus is the lack of controls in the vc.

Using only REX4.

So, if some of you got a similar good looking vc with some better working controls, then please tell me about it

I love it. Kurt.....

...but, there again, I only ever use the 2D panels in my aircraft...

So it works fine for me, and I can add various extra bits and bobs with my FS Panel Studio!

Paul....bobbing about with bits.... :D ...!

Nicely done Kurt... <<q

One little bit of information for you...

You see the yellow looking knob/cap to the bottom right of the control column?

That was for adding Oil while in flight as the DeHavilland of Canada DHC-2 "Beaver" would carry more fuel than what the Aircrafts Oil Tank could supply Oil to the engine...so on those long flights an aviator could add Oil without having to land... ;)

The DeHavilland of Canada DHC-3 "Otter" did not have the ability to add Oil in Flight, not a needed feature as the Otter had a large Oil Tank to keep that Pratt & Whitney Radial R1340 happy... ;)
Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Thank you guys :D

@Paul. Earlier i also only used the 2d panel, but Daube made me into using the 3d panel. Today i really appreciate that, cause it has the more normal "floating" views. The only lack is, there is a "long between" good vc cockpits in uploaded aircrafts!

@Doug. That information is just GOLD  So good we have a real BUSH DRIVER with such informations

My pleasure Kurt and papituwall....every now and then something will come back to me....

I did fly the DeHavilland of Canada DHC-2 "Beaver" several times from both front seats as a courtesy from other aviators who were friends but never got checked out in one...I flew the Beaver's big sister...the Otter...amongst a few others... ;)

The one "Game" that started me off into this Flight Simming malarkey, many years ago, was Flight Unlimited II in 1997, with its default DH Beaver aircraft!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flight_Unlimited_II

Been hooked ever since!.... ...!

Paul... ...!

...its also kept me hooked on the State of California, and San Francisco, which it represented at the time!

Thanks Jet and Greg ;)

Paul, i've never tried Flight Unlimited. I started off with Combat Flight Simulator when it came out, on a very poor pc!!
Then things started to move fast into upgrading/building computers (quite a few i must say), then CFS2, FS9, CFS3, RoF and FSX. (Even tried IL2 Sturmovik, but i wasn't sastified with it).
Atm i'm :D

Very nice pic's of what I consider to be one of FSX's aesthetically painted and, ergonomically sound aircraft. Fits the environment perfect.

Thanks FoMo, and i agree with you on the aircraft.
Surely would like to add some wheels on it, just like the Eager Beaver made for fs9, but no luck yet

For your info, i took off from Welzow EDCY, Germany.
