Saitek Controls

Postby warand » Mon Apr 21, 2014 6:53 pm

I just upgraded to Windows 7, and have got everything working but 2 assignments for my throttle and prop pitch.

I want to us both for manual engine/prop reverse and for the life of me cannot remember where the assignment is in FSX/setting/controls.

I've looked under engine, throttle , and prop controls and can't seem to locate the assignment so I can use my throttles and pitch controls for reverse.

Hope someone can help.

I have a Saitek X-52 Pro and I have NOT assigned a button for reverse prop pitch (jet reverse thrust). I use the stock FSX assignment. It is the number 3 on the 10 key on my keyboard. Try Shift+F10 (while in a flight in FSX) that will give you the knee board which has all of the keyboard assignments. Also, in the main FSX menu, on the left side bottom is settings then controls (I might have this reversed, been a LONG day!!).

Hope this helps! :music-rockon:

I am using the Cessna yoke and throttle combo by Saitek and I use F2 for reverse thrust since F2 Is the normal assignment for reverse thrust. I simply Ease back on the throttle until it goes into the neutral position than pull down on the throttle this puts it into reverse thrust.
To come out of reverse thrust i push throttle back into the neutral position and then slightly forward and than back into neutral
This works well for me
