Is the file name over n Avsim. or search Helicopter Autopilot, FS2004 only. DL the file, Unzip it, and follow the directions to install in nearly any chopper in FSland....or air
They wrote it for idjits like me to follow, so the install is actually very easy and well layed out for the tyro panel editor

And Paul, that big fan on top is only to keep the pilot cooled off. Let it stop, and watch him start to sweat!

Hi Pat,

Easy AP is a little bit outdated, missing some functions, the version at hovercontrol is newer and better suited for fsx.

Easy AP works only above 200 ft AGL and 40 kts, while the newer version can be used over the whole speedrange and at every height. it can be used for starts, 'automatic' landings and for autohover. By the way, the instructions for the newer version ar far more comprehensive, than the older ones.

Not sure where the 60kts is listed, but that number works with the AFCS, not the autopilot as the real bird doesn't have one (not modeled in the Virt version anyway). As mentioned, suggest adding Dirks new AP to all your rotary wing models for easy and more enjoyable FS flights.
