The only SR-71 pilot to ever to take pictures and talk about his bird and his experiences mentioned that the pressure suits they used, which were actually precursors to the NASA spacesuits, are in fact a closed system. One does NOT want to release "foul or noxious odors" into this system! Also, that the pressure within the suits is much lower than Earth-Normal (14.7psi). Not so great for someone with another "pressure" within their body! Not
too bad during a relatively slow ascent from sea-level up to pressurization altitude (about 8-10,000 feet) where the internal pressures can be released slowly and over a long time. Not so great in an emergency, where the suit must be pressurized suddenly due to a rapid loss of pressure within the craft. THEN you have a problem!!
The broccoli and cheese omlet for breakfast is a BAD idea!!!!
