Parkersburg, West Virginia

Postby OldAirmail » Sun Apr 13, 2014 9:18 pm

This is the first time that I've seen a cloud starting to cover the moon.

It doesn't show here, but there's a fast approaching storm behind me causing some turbulence.

P3d. By the end of this weekend I should have the best of FSX transferred to it.

The moon is an add-on - HD Moon Textures.

If I recall correctly, there were three sizes of HD moons. I chose the mid sized one.

Thanks everyone.

That picture is from just after sunset, so there's no direct sunlight.

I think that it captures "twilight" very well.

As to that moon, just click on the link above. It works well in FSX & P3d.

And as far as I can tell it really does follow the real moon as to moon rise/moon set. Just one more thing to make FSX/P3d as real as possible.
