A Challenge

Postby Flying Trucker » Wed Mar 19, 2014 9:05 am

Goodly morning all... <<s

I joined Simviation on March 26th, 2005 and it is the only Forum I belong to. (Hope I used the right to...too...two...2...)

Today I again renewed my Simviation Membership like many of you do each year.

What I like is the Download Speed when one is an Express Member but that is not just the only thing.

Yesterday like many times before I had a problem with a Simulated Aircraft Download. The GPS would not show correctly on my monitor.

I posted the problem and within half a day I had the fix and from a new Simviation Member.... ;)

Perhaps all the members of Simviation should work for the government as we seem to accomplish more in half a day than the Simple Servants or is that Civil Servants do in a week or two...

The information from Links posted on our Simviation Forums is just awesome at times and many enjoyable moments are spent reading and obtaining information from other Links associated with the posted Link.
A wealth of free information...

A cross section of our membership from what I can see is folks from all walks of life, all ages and we all share a common love of Simulated Aviation or Real Aviating.
We help each other out without fanfare and our time is given freely.

People like me who know how to turn the Electronic Gizmo on/off do need to be walked through some of the problems we create or encounter but Simviation Members post and keep posting until our problems are solved.

That I think is what makes our Simviation Forums unique and well worth being an Express Member or not.

Well folks with almost nine years in I am already looking for the tenth year to roll in.

That is when I hope to get the key to the Simviation Bar just off the Dungeon and where they store the Marmalade.... :o

Yes I challenge those of you who are not an Express Member to become one...it is cheaper than a meal at a Fast Food Joint...

Thanks again for making the last year an enjoyable one folks and looking forward to the future... ;)
Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Right on Doug, There are so many helpful folks here in the various forum topics. I think I walked in around 2008, but I was lurking for two years before that. Did I hear you ask why the two year wait? I actually was new to computers and was afraid to post and look stupid, after reading other forums and seeing other newbees getting ridiculed to shreds. But not so here at Simv, and now I'm completely comfortable posting away here because everyone already knows I'm not the brightest star in the sky.

Good morning OldAirMail...

Yes, now from what I have read many a Simviation Member who went astray was taken to the dungeon and covered in Marmalade... :shifty:

Now I can't verify that, it is something I have read between the lines here... :o

Good morning Kurt... <<u

Not sure if it was Ozzy "Mark" or not. The old grey matter is not working as good as it used to...

I do remember reading something about a Simviation get together somewhere across the pond and I read that Mark was a Pole Dancer :?: :?:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pole_dance

You may have to PM Mark on that one yourself Kurt... :shifty:

P.S. Must get across the pond soon to have a pint or two of wobbly pop with Mark "Ozzy", Doug "Hagar" and Paul "Fozzer"... ;) Still waiting for this dang foot of mine to heal...can hardly walk and this damp weather does not help...
