Dino's F-14

Postby E-Buzz » Mon Mar 10, 2014 10:05 am

Hi All,
I love everyone's screenshots and I thought I'd contribute one of my own randoms. This is my first attempt at uploading and posting a pic, so please comment and criticize. I can't seem to get rid of all the jaggies...
I hope to one day be able to post such high quality pics like CHUCK 79.
Thanks!

Thanks Bass!
Yes, I think I clipped a bit of that off when I was resizing... Oops! Thanks for the tip! I also tend to like off-center shots - I'll post some more.
I see really small jaggies on the wings but maybe I'm too picky.
Thanks again!

Great pics!! I am a huge fan of Dino's F-14s also, as well as carrier ops! :D

Just wanted to give ya a heads up, tho, NATOPS policy for carrier ops require the canopy to be closed before breaking down chocks and chains for taxiing. It's a jet-blast/propwash safety issue. Supposed to have chock-walkers for the bird also, for the mainmounts at a minimum. Brake systems DO fail. I can dig up the exact book, section, chapter, and page #'s if you really want, or the preceise quotes. :geek:

I have both the different aircraft and the Carrier Operations Natops saved off on my HD. I am a bit of a packrat that way

Thanks again for the pics!

Thanks for the info PhantomTweak! Very helpful about the canopy policy - I'd like to be more authentic when possible. Now, if I could just get ahold of that kind of object scenery to add...

I can't resist - One more pic....
