She's been having a bad time making ends meet after losing her job.
At least she recently earned a little money painting a porch, or something.
But last night was a bit hard for her. The phone kept waking her up.
The first time all I heard was her whispering to someone "I don't know", before hanging up the phone.
No sooner had we gotten back to sleep when it rang again.
This time she was even more brusk when she said "I don't know" and hung up the phone.
But when it rang once more after we fell asleep, she really got mad after listening to the person on the phone.
She yelled I DON'T KNOW!!! . I AM NOT A WEATHERMAN AND I CAN'T SEE IT FROM HERE!, and slammed the phone down.
Being fully awake now I asked her what it was all about.
Still angry she said "Some stupid woman wanted to know if the coast was clear."
