Just for giggles, try right clicking an aircraft folder, and select the "restore previous version" from the dropdown and see if that restores a complete folder with the .cfg file. If that works, try doing the same to the entire SimObjects folder.

Thank you external drive used to back up aircraft and sceneries!! I keep all that and th various addons for the program, like FSUIPC etc on it too. Anything trashes the program or whatever, just reinstall it all. Takes a while but well worth the time saved not having to try and FIND everything and DL and install it all over again!!

Hope you had a b/u spme place too Jet, I really do, that's a LOT of paints and so on to reload!

Good luck!

Not sure what the problem is here. I'm sorry I ever suggested it.

Thankfully, System Restore restored everything back to the previous 6 hours before the incident.

I got everything back just like it was luckily

ain't bothering with that program anymore, it found the Dumpster, not worth my time trying to find the problem with that newly updated program !

Wouldn't ya know it, the Dumpster slid off his forks and hit the pavement hard,, talk about a loud BANG at 2 in the morning,,,

caused me to come up out of my chair it did,,,

I thought a plane had crashed or something,,,
