No. It is for FS2004 only. I did try it in FSX and it didn't really work well. I didn't bother trying to make it work since my computer will only run FSX on medium settings anyway. I'm running Windows XP pro with a Pentium 4, 3.20GHz processor, 3 gigs of ram, and an Nvidia Geforce 430 card. WOOHOO!! Yeah I know I need to upgrade. I built this heap from the bare motherboard back when Pentium 4 was the stuff! I hate letting go of windows XP. I also have a lot of old software that is not compatible with the new systems; such as the photo processing program I used to create these textures. :(

Not necessarily.

You need to do a couple of things ASAP.

Buy a copy of Windows 7.

THIS WILL NOT WORK WITH WINDOWS 8!

Get/build a new computer. The CPU MUST be capable of hardware-assisted virtualization.

Go to Microsoft and install virtual XP - Install and use Windows XP Mode in Windows 7.

It's free to.

Well I’m just getting around to looking at the forum. I’ve been a little busy lately. Thanks for the info Airmail. I had no idea such a thing existed. I was in fact thinking of upgrading to Windows 7. I’ve been looking at several different combo deals with a variety of CPU choices but I haven’t really settled on anything yet. Now that I know I have a way of still using XP and my old software I’ll certainly make my choices carefully. It would be great to have the best of both worlds.

While there's no way to say that this'll be the solution, this has kept me from having to buy a program that cost almost $300 today.

It was originally written for windows 95. I bought it when I had Windows 98. And it still runs on Virtual XP under Windows 7 today. Not bad. :D

I think that what would be a killer is if your program is dependent on specific hardware.

Good luck, and nice water even if I can't use it.
