WOW , if that article is true, then, that means in 1973, I met John Denver when I was only 10 years old, and he'd been only 20 years old, and I got to spend the entire day with him.

What happened was , somehow it was arranged for him to come to my School, 1973, and they gave him the entire gym auditorium and he had set up some amps and a portable movie screen, to show at that time 8mm Film on.

he had brought several 8mm Films to show the entire school mostly about Colorado and Colorado's Wild Life, then after the films were over, he / we spent the rest of the day singing, Colorado mountain High and other songs as he also brought along his guitar and sang for the rest of the afternoon.

and that is how I met John Denver was at my Grade School in 1973.
