As a warm-blooded creature, I HATE that stuff with a vengeance!.... ...!

So far, here in England, we haven't seen any of it, so far....which is unusual for this time of year..... and I sincerely hope it stays that way!

Paul....but we are getting quite a lot of rain in certain parts!... ;) ...!

I've been reading about all the rain over there. Snow has a tendancy to stay and pile up faster than unwanted inlaws. I've had to shovel a spot in the back so my little shitzoos can take their little shitzoos. :animals-dogrun:

Paul, I thought that I'd send you some warm thoughts

First a nice ride to get your blood moving.

And then a little bit about how we cope over here in the winter.

Here in the Blackhills of South Dakota (I live a few miles from Sturgis, the mecca of bikers),
the bikes get put away and the snow mobiles come out.
But this dude has, you might say, balls of iron:

Hopefully be able to get on 2 wheels by May, to crazy to risk wrecking the hog and being down when the summer and the rally comes around.
But sometimes it happens out here, got caught in a snowstorm in May, up in the high country, and sometimes you do what ya gotta do!, to get home.

Indeed. I've never seen so much rain in my life & I'm getting fed up with it. Think I'd rather have snow. Mind you, we're lucky here in the South-East compared with those poor folks in the West Country. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-26042990

My morning taps on the glass of my Barometers indicates that we are locked into an extremely low pressure region, as shown on Doug's weather chart above!

108.90 mb.
28.30 inches.

On one of my Barometers the needle has actually dropped off the bottom of the scale!

Low pressure = Stormy weather!

Paul....de-pressurised... :o ...!

Very wet and windy outside at the mo'!

P.S... I wonder if any of our U.S. Chums has taken a Barometer reading whilst in the middle (or near!) of an active Tornado in their area?... ...!

...P.S. ....Pressure correction:

960 Millibars.
28.20 Inches.

Slowly dropping.

Paul.
