"Fun" is a word that is used quite differently today than when I was a little younger.
Back in '58 we moved near a commuter railroad station.
During the summer it would get a bit warm, so the commuters would usually leave their cars in the parking lot with the windows cranked down.

In '58 & '59 you only saw cars from the "big three" auto makers; Ford, GM, and Chrysler. Locking steering wheels weren't made then. At least not by the US makers.
Someone had the bright idea of finding two cars of the same make, model, and color
(which was fairly common back then). We then put them into neutral, and swapped their positions.
Then we did it again with another pair of cars.
As far as I know, no one ever stole anything from the cars.
The parking lot had businesses on two sides, and apartments on the third side. You know people must have been watching, but no one ever called the police on us.
