1 GulfIV_FSX and GulfIV_FSX_USG
2 Dassault Falcon 50
3 Eclipse 500VLJ
4 Gulfstream_G550
5 Gulfstream_100

All look great as thumbnails but fail horribly when selected to fly! Who's minding the store to allow such disappointing attempts to be posted for download without verifying their incompletness! Spent thousands of dollars in upgrades but it seems my investments were in vain! I have only dreamt that over the last fifteen years and the billions of dollars that Gates and Balmer and the other 2% ers have made would inspire them to stand by their products and facilitate progress with the flightsimulator community in mind! We have glimpses of what could be but must settle for so much inferiority! Great download times now that I paid some dues.

Athlon 6400 X2, 8 gigs Ram, SLI nVidea 8800 cards : 331.82 Direct X 11, Vista Ultimate,

Thousands of dollars for upgrades? You must have purchased top dollar components. Or some one really took advantage of you I could see where if one purchased all top dollar components you could could easily spend about 3 grand. My new system ran just over $800 but I settled for some lower priced components
As for what you downloaded one has to remember that few places monitor uploads to see if they are missing anything or if they are quality uploads. There is only one site that I know of that does check uploads to make sure they all have a readme file in them an a email of the person(s) that will be responsible for them. Sorry I said I would never mention that site in these posts again.
That would take a lot of time and most sites have volunteers and they just do not have the time it takes to do that.

I still haven't gotten much response from anyone about a real fix for the above mentioned problems. Oh well! It seems Carenado and Premier Aircraft Designers have made it over the hump to the latest versions of "updates"! Has anyone tried to update Alaskan Winds Super Otters? Really enjoyed flying those MDL's! And now that someone has reposted the source files for FS2000's FSTRAINS, maybe a development group could get together and advance those beautiful designs, like ORBx whose scenery designs are awesome! Anybody heard from Timberwolf Airlines? Did they just disappear into Alaskan Wilderness?

You're not making much sense here. Carenado got over the hump on updates? Carenado makes high quality payware GA planes, none of the ones you seem to have problems with. PAD hasn't developed anything anymore for the last two (three?) years since their main developer died. And what they did develop was of questionable quality. At least it was for free. For the Alaskan Winds Super Otters, you could look at the Alaskan Winds VA website (if they still exist). Since FSX is almost 8(!) years old now, I'd think they might have upgraded by now. And how can you compare FS2000 (what's FSTRAINS got to do with it?) with Orbx? Comparing 8 bit software with 64 bit? Donkey Kong vs. Crysis 3...

PS. Thousands of dollars on that system? It came with a golden keyboard and a diamond casing? $200 at the most...

Your worried about downloads, and someone not doing their job here at SimV. It all lies with the person that uploaded the aircraft to see all is okay and works with FSX. It becomes aware to the staff here when you inquire to a download not up to par with FSX as the description states. To me this would be a very good start to inquire within.
Meanwhile, why is it packages of Hots Dogs are still 10 to a pack, while packages of Hot Dog buns still come in packages of 8.

That way you have to buy two packages of buns and wind up throwing the odd ball buns in the trash
