You want warm? Try Yuma Az. I lived there for 30 years, and I've seen 110 on Christmas Day....

360 flying days per year tho, great for motorcycles too! If they can fly, I could ride!Watch out for TRW's tho, those things HURT in the clothes one wears in Yuma, even on a bike.

Fun to all! Pat~
Have fun, fly high, far, and free!

There is just one winter sport I have not mastered yet or even figured out... :?

Why do folks sit around a little hole in the ice, covered by a canvas tent, freezing their butts off and waiting for some fish to swim along?

Have you ever seen an ice fisherman? They all seem to look the same.
Bulky red parkas, I guess they figure the red parkas are easier to spot in water when the ice breaks up. There is usually dozens of cigarette butts by their boots, they sit crouched over the hole in the ice staring into the black water, waiting, just waiting with a blank stare on their faces hoping that fish will pop up through the hole and jump right into their bucket...

Don't they know fish are smart...they go south in the winter...

I think it would be much wiser to go to the local fish market or grocery store and purchase the fish already cleaned...

Perhaps that is why when we Old Retired Rocking Chair Flying Geezers buzz their ice fishing huts and chase them on their snowmobiles with our flying bugsmashers they have that funny look on their faces...

I guess it is a great Canuck pass time as there are hundreds of them out there on the ice right now...
Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug
