Wonderful Thanksgiving Dinner !!

What are you laughing at?

Wonderful Thanksgiving Dinner !!

Postby Jetranger » Sun Dec 01, 2013 11:56 pm

This "was" my Thanksgiving Dinner , Thanksgiving !

OMG ! :?

What Happened ? :?:

Well its like this ya see

I wwas Flight Simming and I stopped to put this "Expensive" $.99 Cent Turkey Pie in the oven, and then I went on about my Flight cruising around the mountains of Italy.

Well the phone rang as well, and that got me side tracked

then it was back to Flying

Yaaa , bout' 4 hours later I got tired, around 2am in the morning

soooo, I went to bed took a Napster

woke up at about 8am Thanksgiving morning and thought , it sure smells good in here for some reason ??

wonder why that is ??

then I remembered I stuck a pot pie in the oven last night and forgot to eat it :D :D :D :D

Direction say about 30 to 40 minutes for a frozen pie - in this particular case , it went a wee bit overboard ! :D

Total time : 8.5 hours  :D

Well ya know, what can I say , Flight Simming is an, "Addiction" :? :D :o

I may be getting my own "Cooking show on the Food Network", soon :D

These are the Photos I sent in to the producers of the "Cooking Network", hopefully I'll Qualify :hand:  :naughty: :?

Sincerely, from thy Master Chef , De Magnificent Jetranger ~ !

..... ... ... ...!

Been there...done it...got the Tee-Shirt!... ...!

As I spend every day between cooking my various meals (Breakfast, Dinner, Tea, and Supper) and pretending to fly at the same time, I always make a point of winding up, and setting the time on my portable "Cooks Clockwork Alarm" following every process involving my trusty gas cooker.

That way, when the alarm bell goes off in front of me, I am reminded to stop FLYING and concentrate on COOKING!..... ....!

Paul...just preparing Breakfast..(setting the alarm so the Cornflakes don't go all soggy!)... ...!

A worthwhile investment to avoid all those cooking, etc, disasters!

Paul....I wouldn't be without mine!... :D ...!

I even use it to remind me of the upcoming Television/Radio Show/Film, etc, whilst I am "flying"!... :D ...!

Don't let it put you off, Jet... :o ...!

There is nothing more satisfying than a tasty, home-cooked meal, that you have prepared, cooked, and served all by yourself....

....especially is there is someone else there to enjoy it with you, with a nice glass, or three, of Sonoma Valley/Napa Valley wine!

Trust me!.. ;) ...!

@BASS

That is whats known as a "Moon Pie" :?

A Moon Pie is what "Aliens" from outer Space deliver to "Humanoids" :o

The Radiation from the Space Craft, cooked the Pie, over heated it and thus it was Burn't

This was their way of offering Peace , but instead what I ended up with was a Piece of genuine Krapola !

They will try again come Christams, they said, they apologized and offered me a coupon to McDonalds :violin:

Then they were gone :snooty:

Moon PIE, Aliens, Space Ships - what have you been Drinking ???

Not sure, but maybe that Boons Farm Strawberry Wine had something to do with it ??

Heee-Cuppppp !!!

If you look very carefully in the Alien's eye you can see a reflection of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin struggling to erect a flag on the Moon...

I don't think the Alien was very impressed with the visitors at the time, hence the offer of the Alien Pie containing a Humanoid destroying Virus!

...probably... ;) ...!

A nice red wine from either the Napa Valley or Sonoma Valley Vineyards in Central California.

Highly recommended... :D ...!

Goes down very well with Turkey Pie (cooked properly).
