Man, those must be dangerous as heck!

Your pants are all brown when you landed in the first picture.

In the second picture you've put on clean pants.

Gyrocopter in the USA.
Gyroplane in Europe.

One of the safest and most manoeuvrable aircraft you can imagine..take off and land on a sixpence (almost).

With its free-rotating rotor acting as a wing, spun by air passing over it, it is almost impossible to stall.

Well worth watching the various Videos, and trying one out in the Sim...!

You may get to enjoy the experience...and the wonderful view!....trust me!

Many thanks, Kurt!... :D ,...!

A search of; "Gyrocopters" in "You-Tube" will reveal some wonderful, safe, little machines, and what they are capable of..a different flight experience!

I must confess, in the Flight Sims, (FS 2004/FSX), I mainly stick to affordable flying machines for the average aircraft enthusiast, eg; used Cessna Trainers, Microlights, Ultralights, Flex wings,...and Gyrocopters...and not forgetting Gliders!

I just cannot see myself owning, storing, maintaining, transporting, insuring, and running, a Boeing 747, F-16, or Apache Helicopter from my local airfield...
..and certainly not from the farmer's field behind my house!

In the Flight Sim World, they don't call me "Captain Sensible" for nothing!.... ;) .... ...!

Same here. I WANT to fly planes that it would be possible for me to fly.

If I were in the pilots seat of an A380, they would hustle me out of the plane and wipe the seat down with antiseptics. :D

But as I fly a Bonanza V35, or an old DC-3, I can feel like I'm really flying those planes.
