Welcome back O0

My experience, that yoke and quadrant is screaming out for FSUIPC. Best bit of software I have ever added onto FSX

i got it up and running but it took a series of small miracles and some foul language. The profile editor is near impossible to figure out as there is no real deep instructions that are provided with any of the hardware. in reality as many free copies of "Damage inc." that were packaged in the box they could have easily enclosed a short 5 minute dvd disc with instructional video on the setup. Instead i have several new "coasters" for my cold beer

additionally, because my FSX.cfg did not have all the proper authorizations through windows to be modified by other programs, the control settings that i would spend a lot of time setting up in FSX would go UN-SAVED every single time FSX was closed.

I had to modify the permissions for the controls file in FSX - that took some time to figure out.

The yoke and rudder pedals and spare quadrant have added a considerable amount of realism to the sim. large 4 engine prop jobs like the A2A B-17 are now a lot more fun to fly vs my old joystick.

but...

since i fly multiple types in FSX it would be nice to utilize the three 'modes" the yoke can be placed in... Mode 1 for 4 engine, mode 2 for twins and mode 3 for singles... but i have yet to figure that out and for now im not pressing my luck. im just enjoying the sim. I've been about a year without FSX now lol I'll take what i can get
