Light.

Postby 757200ba » Wed Sep 04, 2013 7:18 pm

Hello everyone.

I have something strange to ask to all this genius of FS.
There are AMAZING scenery and ai for our hobby. but there is one thing.....
With all this scenery and planes and traffic that make look so real there is one thing i cant "fix". ITs the Fs light. Everything looks to much bright.
One example Heathrow on a raining day....we have REX or any other of the kind but...alll looks so bright the light look so PC. The planes look to much white. is there any tweak at the fs9.cfg to reduce that light and make more "real"

I know is a strange question, and my English is not very good but i hope you understand what i mean.

Many Thanks

Here's a tip that you could try... ;) ...

Reduce the brightness level of your Monitor screen via the Monitor-mounted push-buttons... ;) ..!

I found that my scenery always looked far too dull on a bright sunny day, so I brightened the Monitor screen, (the "sunshine" button). Worked wonders for me!

"Lighten my darkness, I beseech thee....", etc, etc... ...!

Paul.... ...!

It can also be done by altering the; "Gamma level" setting of your nVidia, etc, Video Card.
Win 8.1 64-bit. DX11. Advent Tower. Intel i7-3770 3.9 GHz 8-core. 8 GB System RAM. AMD Radeon HD 7700 1GB RAM. DVD ROM. 2 Terra Byte SATA Hard Drive. Philips 17" LCD Monitor. Saitek Cyborg X Fly-5 Joystick. ...and a Briggs and Stratton Petrol Lawn Mower.

Off any subject here, just a compliment and note to Fozzer. Almost every comment I see you post, you leave some sort of quote. At first,I felt your evading some of the questions here and posting these things was slightly annoying.I had even made a comment sometime back about it when you commented on a problem I was having and I felt the problem was serious enough to warrant my irritation with you. But,with time,I began to appreciate your levity more and more. Now,I think there is even more to it.Your intelligence. By your quick wit and handling of the quotes, something tells me you are a somewhat brilliant individual. It's a pleasure to speak with you in the forum. You must be a blast to have as a neighbor! Simviation Forum wouldnt be the same without you! Keep up the high intellectual additions my friend! :)
