With the AC 500 Cargo version (ac500ca1.zip) comes a Flight Plan folder (AC500Cargo). Unfortunatly, the files inside that folder do not match other flight plans (nor saved flights) inside FS9 guts:

I notice no FHL files elsewhere

Well, I guess those flight plans were from FS 2002 or FS 2000 ... (or that smuggling aircraft territory is NOT "for my eyes only")

Hi Jean. I've finally got round to investigating this.
1. First, paste the new PLN files into the Documents\Flight Simulator Files folder shown in your shot.
2. Start FS9 & select the aircraft you wish to use from the Create a Flight menu.
3. Click the Flight Planner button.
4. Click the Load button & select the PLN file you wish to load.
5. Select Direct - GPS & click the Find Route button.
6. Click Save & save your flight.
7. Click Load & select the flight you just saved.
8. Click OK to return to the Create a Flight screen. If you see this message click Yes.
The flight should now be loaded.
Hope this works for you.
