What should I add in now?

Postby ThaddeusHWJ » Sat Aug 17, 2013 8:23 am

I have just reinstalled FSX, as I realized I had a lot of planes with quality that's below average, and my scenery for a few airports are messed up. I used to have over 500 files, and hence I decided to reinstall it.

Now, my FSX is clean again, and I do have a backup of all my default and addon planes. However, I decided to ask you guys out there, what do you think is recommended for me to install into FSX to improve my FSX experience?

Please do recommend me some planes, sceneries, utilities, sounds etc.

I would greatly appreciate all your suggestions. :).

I thought it would be helpful to get some opinions from you guys.

Thanks!

Hi Thaddeus.
That all depends on what you like to fly! I sure have a lot of suggestions, but maybe you should take a look at this thread.

Hi there Bass

Thanks for your suggestion, but quite a number of the freeware in that thread are prop planes. Do you know of any threads or downloads that are more towards the Commercial Airliner side?

Thanks,

Depending on how good you are at editing, I'd recommend visiting http://poskyarchive.com/, http://ssp.cyber-ninja.jp/SSP2010Update.html, and http://www.pafs.wf/downloads. Pair these with a default (or third-party, as I did with my 777) Virtual cockpit, and have fun. If that's not quite up your alley or if it's above your skill level, there's plenty of pre-made packages on SimV. Also, check out the new TDS 787.
