multiple screen set for insterments

Postby jrribbens » Mon Aug 05, 2013 12:59 pm

hello simers i have been using fsx for many years now and i had 6 screen for about 2 years now. am using the triple head to go for my three which span vary nicly across my three projectors. now i have 2 screen that are in the dash of my cockpit that i use for gauges and when i start a flight i have to spend 15 20 mins placing all my gauges in the correct spot on the screens. i use the other monitor on the side of me using it as a left side window out of my plane. now my question is has anyone come across a program that places those instruments automatically for me or anything that will make that proces much faster. i am aware of the saving after i place the instruments but sometimes(most of the time) it doesn't work right and end up having to replace all my windows anyway

THANK YOU
Joseph

Howdy, welcome to SimV, i work with different screens too. You have to select your aircraft, set your instruments to the panels you prefere and than SAVE THE FLIGHT.
when you open the Saved flight again, normally all your instruments ar going to appear in the screens you selected............. ;)

Hi ,
have you seen the Panel Builder program which you can get from[www.rcsimulations.co.uk in Bristol. You can build any panel that you want and display it on a separate screen, (ideally a touch screen) The instruments are very accurate and can be re sized easily to fit your screen, they are also very high quality and run smoothly without frame rate loss, once you have designed your panel you just load it with no need to re configure. The USB version is around £50 pound with a download available for £39.I have been using it for a couple of months and I love it.
