Water Wake Where are You?

Postby Bubblehead » Fri Jul 12, 2013 4:34 pm

When I played my FSX this morning I just noticed that when flying sea planes, that it did show the water wake which it did before. I know its part of the "effects" file but can anyone tell me how to install it back in?

What did you recently add to FSX ?
Try looking through you FSX effects folder to see if you find any file renamed or the type changed to a bak extension.
all files in this folder should have FX file extension. If you should find any that do not have this extension that is a problem. You might be able to rename any file with a BAK extension as this is a Back Up type

I counted 14 effects for wake inside my effects folder.

I got it figured out. I have two PCs both with FSXs in them. I transferred the Effects File from one to the other and messed up in the process. I re-did it and it's OK now. Thanks for the help.
