does anyone know how make fsx crashes realistic and not just normal setting. or and mod that makes any plane have an realistic crash. like where if your plane made an hard landing you skid down the runway. also if you crash into an tree your plane splits an part and spins or skids eta. or if you crash in the air into an building with your wing the plane ether loses control and spins or has limited control if it didn't lose all of it wing. also if you had an mid air collusion you explode or you tumble to the ground plus all the effects for all those styles of crashes

Realistic crashes were removed on FS2002 after the Trade Towers incident. There have been programs to restore real crashes, such as "Crash Back" and a few others.

I fly my Sim to enhance my skills or just for the enjoyment of visiting new places and airports. If you want to watch yourself crash & burn, may I suggest that you pull out your XBox & have at it.

Just my opinion,

Like the first post stated there are a couple of third party software programs that will do this but I am not sure where you might find them at, and it is possible they have been removed you can try sites like AVSIM or even here.

Hello Guys......................that´s what i found in the WEB..........

How do you add crash effects to Microsoft Flight Simulator X?

In:Microsoft Flight Simulator X [Edit categories]

Answer:

1. Go to the Windows "Search" tool and search the FSX directory for the file Aircraft.CFG and select the instance under the aircraft you want the effect added to.

2. Open the file on Notepad and then navigate to the category titled [fltsim.0] (there are usually more then one of these categories--one for each livery/paint job for the aircraft and the number increases by 1).

3. Add the line visual_damage=1 below each category instance.

4. Save the file as Aircraft.NEW in ANSI format under the same aircraft directoy (use "Save As..." and NOT "Save"!).

5. Rename the original Aircraft.CFG to Aircraft.OLD, then rename Aircraft.NEW to Aircraft.CFG and rerun FSX.

From now on, when you fly the aircraft who's file you've edited, you will see crash effects (but only if the aircraft creator included them as part of the package). I have included a link below that details the format, layout and parameters for the Aircraft.CFG file.
