BASS, you are Correcto' Mundo, about the Default Prop Spin File, that came with it.

I swapped that Spin Prop File, for another file, and I couldn't tell ya which one , been a while ago, when I did it.

I Also swapped Radial Engine sounds to give a more beefier stronger sounding set of Radials,,, with some Roar ,,,

I often Swap Spin Prop texture files and sound files with my Propliners, I've got so many Vintage Propliners I've customized, its beyond ridlicious.

in my Collection, and I' may be leaving some out,,,forgetfulness,,, I've got DC2's , DC-3's, DC4's DC-6's DC-7's L-1049's, Vegas, B-307's B377's, Ford tri motors, some Italian propliners, the C-124 Skymasters, Flying Boats, Convairs, I can't remember them all,, told ya i'd forget,,,!!!!

anyway,, summer is here, lots of projects to do to my house so I won't be posting here as much till winter rolls back around again,,,,,

Jet, i know you got a LOT of ac to "swap from"...over 3000 if i remember correctly
Well, i'll try to swap spin from the stock dc3 and rename it to see what happens. About the sound files, i do that all the time if its an alias or if the dl'ed sound dont suits me.

Have a good working summer  ;)

BASS,,,, its kinda a hit miss on swapping Spin Prop Textures,,,, actually,,, the TRICK is most of the time,,,, is to sometimes keep the exact same file format,, like BMP or DDS,, but I have on occasion used a DDS Spin prop file DXT3 format to replace a BMP Spin prop file and had it come out looking really good .

its a trial error thing,, sometimes it works, other times it don't,,, EACH and every aircraft is different , with NO 1 set formula as to how it'll react once you swap the textures,,,

if not happy,, just find another propliner, preferbally with the same amount of prop blades,,, like don't try to swap a 4 blade prop with a 3 blade prop,, etc....

sometimes it takes me 4 or 5 trys to get the effect I like that looks appropriate for me,,, sometimes frustrating,,, at times, but in the end, worth it,,,

Ohhh Ya, Correction,,, the amount of AIRCRAFT I have in my parts inventory now stands at 4,800 Aircraft ~

Again, Holy Macrel! Nearly 5.000
No wonder you can find something that works!
I did the .dds swap from stock dc-3. (dc-6 is the only 4 props atm). It improved, yes, but still the blades goes behind clouds etc.
I can live with it for now.
